your hosts and our story
We are a couple living in Bloor West Village, Toronto and have a very busy work/family life. We also run rental properties in Bloor West Village which always has us fixing and renovating. In addition, we host international students and make and sell scented candles from our home!
We love to travel and explore different cultures and architecture in Europe as well as take driving trips around our beautiful Ontario for a hike, to see a waterfall or just explore a quaint little town for a weekend.
There are also those times when we like to get away from it all and relax with privacy in a peaceful and natural setting, the one place that delivers is our cottage!

We always enjoy our time here and sharing with family and friends. As we plan to take some time to explore other parts of our beautiful country, we are making Algonquin Getaway available for others who we know will enjoy and appreciate it.

THE lAKE
Our cottage is a waterfront property in Belles Bay of Bark Lake, Madawaska, Ontario and the swimming is so refreshing. You can take a canoe out for an adventure and find a secluded spot for a private picnic! See below some of our photos and videos taken at the lake and around the cottage. Of course we just had to include our little Khloe going for her daily swim!
